Hi everyone! It seems my post last week didn't post. So let's recap.
Battle of the Books was a fantastic success. I'm so proud of all three teams. Dalton kids, you did a great job! All three coaches reported that our students played really well, answering tough questions and trying their best. We also saw that our Dalton students were showing proper sportsmanship. They were courteous to the judges, friendly to other teams, and demonstrated their maturity throughout. Well done teams!! From last week and going into this week we have been and will be busily working on our two main projects for this term - our social studies project on countries as well as our science project on classifying living things. Our social studies project is computer based - with students using google slides for the country report and then canva.com for a travel brochure. They are enjoying learning about their countries and look forward to presenting to their fellow students. Our science project is a little more old school. A lot of cutting and gluing as they build their own books about classifying animals. Both of these will make it to seesaw by the end of the month. :) See you there!
